Últimamente me he puesto al día con TODOS mis blogs favoritos, que son muchos porque en la red hay una infinidad de artistas maravillosos. Pero también he descubierto muchos otros que me gustaría compartir. Voy a empezar con una artista que hace unas joyas preciosas, entre otras cosas. Me encanta el diseño de joyas y desde luego esta chica hace verdaderas obras de "arte funcional". Me encanta la idea de poder llevar pequeñas obras de arte encima, es la aplicación que más me gusta del arte. Además sus ilustraciones no tienen pérdida, podéis ver su blog aquí y su tienda de joyas aquí. Espero poder hacerme con estos pendientes, aunque no creo que sepa combinarlos para darles la importancia que se merecen. Pero son tan bonitos...

Otras de mis ilustradoras favoritas son Lila Ruby King y Gennine. A Gennine ya la llevo siguiendo desde hace tiempo y es que me encanta todo lo que hace, en especial los pájaros (y además tiene un perro precioso). A Lila Ruby King la encontré ayer y no pude parar de mirar su trabajo. Me encantaría poder pintar como ellas lo hacen. Estoy practicando, pero mis resultados están muy muy lejos de ser tan buenos como los de todas ellas. No importa si el resultado es bueno, lo importante es haber aprendido y disfrutado en durante el proceso, así que yo lleno páginas de dibujitos tontos y soy la más feliz del mundo.

Y, casualidades de la vida, buscando unos moldes para darle forma a los huevos hervidos he encontrado a esta artista con la que Mr Glass también se ha quedado boquiabierto. Me encantaría tener una acuarela suya en mi casa (el día que tenga una mía de verdad).

También encontré esta foto que me tiene el corazón robado, la vi perdiéndome por el blog de Pandora. Aunque aquí podéis encontrar muchas más.

Supongo que es por el blanco y negro, pero esta foto me recuerda a este artista de siluetas. Si veis algún video suyo os sorprenderá la rapidez con la que trabaja. La primera vez que lo vi me quedé de piedra y todavía me hipnotiza verle trabajar. Sería genial tener un perfil hecho por él, ¿no creéis?

ARTISTS

Lately I've been reading ALL my favourite blogs, I have a pretty big list of blogs because nowadays there are so many wonderful artists. But I've found some more beautiful blogs and I want to share them.  I'm going to start with an artist who makes awesome jewellery, and other gorgeous things. I love the idea of wearing a piece of art, if I'm not wrong its called "functional art". I think it's a perfect use for art. Also her illustrations have enchanted me. You can see her blog here and her online shop here. I hope I'll get this earrings, although I think I won't be able to combine them in the way they deserve. But they are so beautiful...

Others of my favourite illustrators are Lila Ruby King and Gennine. I've been reading Gennine's blog for so long and I love all that she does (see her birds illustrations). And she has a very cute dog called Turbo. I found Lila's work yesterday but I couldn't stop to watch her work. I'd like to draw like them. I'm practicing although my results are very far to be like theirs. But it doesn't matter it the result is good or not, the important thing is learn and enjoy. So I'm filling all the pages of my notebooks with silly tiny draws and I'm the happiest person doing it!

And, how is the destiny, I was looking for some boiled eggs shapers and I found this artist. Mr Glass was stunned also with her watercolours. I would like to have some of her watercolours (if some day I have my really own house).

I guess it's because of the black and white, but this picture remember me this silhouette artist. If you see some of his videos you'll be surprised how quickly he works. The first time I saw him I couldn't stop watching and I was speechless. It still causes the same effect on my. It would be fantastic to have an own silhouette made by him, don't you think?
